The Rivers Mokelumne-Stanislaus-Calaveras River trips Season: Jan. through Oct.
Our Flyfishing guide service helps you explore some of the Delta’s tributary rivers. These rivers offer some great fishing for Trout. Steelhead and Striped Bass available in season. These rivers are relatively small tailwaters that are within an hours drive of the Delta proper. Walk and Wade trips as well as float trips are available. The Mokelumne River The lower “Moke” is home to nice healthy Rainbow and Steelhead. We float this river to gain access to the best water it has to offer. Early Summer dry fly fishing can be good with nymphing the primary tactic. This river also fishes well on the swing with wet flies and streamers. Steelhead follow the salmon run and become available during winter and early spring months. The Stanislaus River
The lower "Stan", the largest of our local rivers is another tailwater that has resident trout, steelhead, & stripers. Walk/wade trips and Float trips available on this fishery. The Calaveras River The “Cal” is a small intimate stream that offers easy wading and some very nice Rainbows for those that know it’s secrets. We walk/wade this river.
